Chicago Public Library (CPL), including the main Harold Washington Library and 70 branch libraries, is one of the largest public libraries in the United States, and is open for anyone to use. Residents of the City of Chicago may check out books and other library materials by showing their CPL Library Card.

St. Augustine College has a special reciprocal borrowing agreement that allows all currently enrolled SAC students and full-time faculty and staff to borrow books from, and use the libraries at, Loyola University Chicago! There are two locations: one in Rogers Park at 6501 N. Kenmore Ave and one near Water Tower Place at 25 E. Looking for a physical book? Trying to access an article not available through St. Augustine College Library? You can place a request to have a book sent from another library or for an article to be scanned and delivered free of charge using interlibrary loan.
